Jimme playing solo and probably one of the most surprising shows among the (several) Silencers gigs I've seen. The show took place in a small hall (a sort a big pub or bar with a stage on a corner) among about 100 people, and Jimme played two sets of about 1 hour 1/4 each. He played "classic" songs (« 27 », « I Want You », « Real Mc Coy »), old tracks maybe less famous but that everybody re-discovered with pleasure ("Answer me", "Razor Blades of Love") and many extracts from the next album (which should thus be excellent!!), and nice surprises : Jimme first sang in French, with the cover of a French artist called Alain Souchon, then another song from another French singer called Serge Gainsbourg, in duet with his girlfriend Claude. Surprises again, with three other french songs (this time written and composed by Jimme!!), once again in duet with Claude (who has a very nice voice!!).
During the second set, there was another surprise with a french version of « Bulletproof Heart » : « Coeur Blindé ». An amazing and gorgeous change!
The show ended with three covers : « Come On Everybody », then « Should I Stay or Should I go » by the Clash, and at last a classic song from the Rolling Stones.
A great night.
